CDC Round 2

NORTH SLOPE
ENDURO

June 1-2, 2024 | Olympia, WA

BEFORE YOU GO

Adult racers will complete waivers at packet pickup!

Youth Waivers  will be live at the same time courses drop for each round and may be completed online or at packet pickup and  must be signed by a parent or guardian (no coaches or family friends).

A signed waiver is required to receive a timing chip and number plate. Youth who do not have a waiver signed by their parent will not be allowed to race, no exceptions.

NORTH SLOPE ENDURO

 VENUE | TRAILS

The North Slope Enduro will be staged out of the junction of roads KC2000 and B6000 just pass the entrance to Low Key and before the start of Slick Jimmy. To get to the venue, head to the North Slope Kiosk which is just past the Grays Harbor ORV Park (link). From the North Slope Kiosk follow venue signs to the top of DNR trail passed Low Key and to the venue.

Unfortunately due to repairs happening at the ORV moto park, we are not able to secure our usual space this year. Thankfully for future years, the county is excited for the CDC to return as soon as their repairs are finished, so bear with us for this round, and we'll be back to our usual program soon.

PARKING

Parking attendants will be on hand who will direct you down roads surrounding the venue to park. Parking is limited, carpooling highly recommended.

All Racers are required to have a Discover Pass Permit to park your vehicle. Follow this link to purchase an annual ($30) or day ($11.50) pass prior to race weekend.

PLEASE BRING TO EVERY RACE

FOOD + WATER - Bring more than you think you'll need! Plan to carry at least 50 ounces  of water on you at all times while riding, plus carb and protein rich snacks to have on hand throughout the day. The aid station on course is not intended to be your sole support, it's intended for water top-offs and  food to supplement you. Proper preparation goes a long way in preventing emergencies on race day.

HELMETS / BODY PROTECTION Helmets must be worn at all times while on course, on both the transfers and race stages. If you're pedaling you must have your helmet securely fastened or risk disqualification. A full face helmet is highly suggested, but not mandatory. Additional body protection to consider are gloves, knee pads, eye protection, neck braces, chest protection, elbow guards, etc.

COURSE MAP Download the Trailforks App to your mobile device with updated regional maps including the event course links released on Wednesday evening of race week; if you do not have a mobile write down the course details with stage names and order to carry with you during the event, found in the race guide or on the information board in the main venue.

TRASH - Pack it in, pack it out. Please help us keep the forest clean while we're guests at the race venue.
TOOLS - Pack a small tool kit with puncture repair kit + multi tool for on the fly trailside repairs
AID - Consider a basic first aid kit with sunscreen, bug spray and bandaids to take care of the bites, burns, stings and things. A waterproof jacket, emergency blanket and whistle area all good ideas too!
