2019 Cascadia Dirt Cup Round 4:

YACOLT BURN ENDURO

Saturday, July 20, 2019 | Yacolt, WA

Yacolt may be off the beaten path but it's well worth the trip and high time we made our way back to revel and race what has always been one of CDC Series Director Trey Wilson's favorite trails to ride in Washington State. With the addition of Yacolt's newest trail Sixth Sense, you're in for a treat. The climbs are big but the rewards are bigger - amazing views, some of the longest descents CDC has to offer, fast, flowy and super fun with just enough technical to keep you on your toes. Thank you Evergreen Southwest for amazing trails!

We will have a feed station on course. This is to supplement you. Please carry enough food and water to complete the whole race.

FIRST AID

First Aid is roaming on course in various locations, and typically available at the finish lines.

SAFETY

Safety trumps everything. Ride within yourself and make good choices. Helmets must be worn and buckled at all times while on a bike. Two helmets are allowed to be carried (XC and full face). iPods/headphones/external speakers - NO! Don't even try, this will result in an immediate DQ!

Man Down Rule - If you come across a downed racer, you are required to stop and confirm if the down racer is uninjured before continuing on. If immediate medical aid is needed call 911 and/or wait for the next racer to come by. Then one racer goes to inform a race official and one racer stays with the down racer. If life threatening, get help!

Passing - If you hear “on your right” or “on your left” you need to let the faster rider pass but only pull off to the side of the trail when it is safe to do. This is not a XC race... NO BLOCKING. If you've been caught by a rider that started 30 seconds behind you, they're a little faster than you, so let them by as soon as it's safe to do so.
