NORTHWEST TUNE-UP
A community-forward festival in Bellingham, Washington, fueled by mountain biking, music, art and craft beer. Inspired by elements from the world’s best festivals, immerse yourself in Pacific Northwest culture and experience a vibrant weekend that nurtures community enrichment and connection.
BIKES & RACING
WHEELIE FUN FOR EVERYONE
Bellingham is globally known for its rich, loamy soil and lush forest riding and 100+ miles of nearby trails, making it one of the best places in North America to shred singletrack. With free bike demos from top brands, guided clinics, kids events, spectator-friendly exhibitions and competitions that span enduro, dirt jump and pumptrack categories, all levels and ages of cyclists will find two-wheeled thrills throughout the weekend.
MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT
THE (HEART)BEAT OF THE FESTIVAL
Steeped in musical legacy, the Northwest breeds talent and attracts global artists to this corner of the world. Throughout the weekend, enjoy 20+ performers and bands from the waterfront stage, covering a range of styles including powerful rap duos, fusion electric-folk, soul-searching R&B and Grammy-winning acts.
GALBRAITH MTN ENDURO
This four to six stage enduro race is a Cascadia Dirt Cup bonus race and is held on Galbraith Mountain for two full days. In traditional format, the downhills are timed and the mandatory uphills are un-timed. Competitors can expect a race course that is more technical than a traditional cross-country course, with a healthy dose of climbing thrown in. The race is broken into multiple categories between Saturday and Sunday.
PUMP TRACK RACE
Racers compete head-to-head on a dirt track built with rollers, banked turns and features designed to be ridden by "pumping" the bike instead of pedaling. The two-day pump track race along Granary Ave. is the perfect, spectator-friendly place to watch with a cold beverage in hand.
THE WMBC BEER GARDEN
A hand-selected lineup of breweries are invited to participate in the Northwest’s premier beer experience. Unique by selection and style, each brewery chooses a beer (or cider or wine) that pairs with Bellingham's eclectic mix of bikes, music and PNW culture. All proceeds from the beer garden go to Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition's efforts to support trails, education and access.
BEER WITH BENEFITS
We support local non-profits who are passionate about trail access and recreation, which is why we’ve teamed up with Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition. For every beer purchased during the festival, all profits go straight into funding Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition’s trail projects, education programs and community events. We’ll drink to that!
Race Cascadia has been bringing people and bikes together on trails since 2012. Its signature series, the Cascadia Dirt Cup, is the premier enduro mountain bike race series in the Northwest.
Race Cascadia is built on a model of giving back, because world class trails don't build themselves. In addition to countless hours of trail service through the Work. Eat. Shred! Tour, Race Cascadia has donated $300,000 back to trails since 2012.
